Minimum Financial Requirements Notifications

Maybe don’t try to understand all of them, but you need to be aware of what applies to you as builder or subcontractor.

Talk to Bruce about current legislation that applies and the critical dates and timeframes for everything from the Minimum Financial Requirements notifications to how long you have to serve a Subcontractor’s Charge.

Taking Action against Debt

Debt and Insolvency matters take many forms and things are always urgent. Just doing nothing is never a solution. Taking early expert advice to develop a strategy is the best way to deal with an insolvency problem.

A very experienced lawyer in the field, Bruce regularly speaks to industry groups and acts for (and against) many liquidators across Australia.

Section 64 Notices

The PPSR – there are a few things you need to do to make a registration stick. What do you do if you get a Section 64 Notice? Can you dispute a registration? Do your business documents reflect the requirements?

Any or all of these reasons for business owners with a Pty Ltd company who:

  • have closed or are likely to close their business without any money left
  • cannot afford $15,000 but want to place their company into liquidation
  • want to do the right thing and inform their creditors properly about the business closing down
  • want to draw a line in the sand so they can get on with their future.

If you have personal assets you want to protect, like a family home or director’s guarantees, this may not be for you, but you should ask us.
